What do whales, swamps, peach trucks, lighthouses, river rapids, sleigh rides, highways and trick shots have in common? They all share a home on our brand new album Wherever I Wander!

We are excited to announce that we have signed with Mountain Home Music, a division of Crossroads Entertainment. We have been in the studio working with producer, Tim Surrett, to put together our best album yet. We are so honored to be a part of the family at Crossroads and look forward to sharing our upcoming record in the near future.
Last year, the International Bluegrass Music Association inaugurated the IBMA Momentum Awards. These awards are meant to recognize musicians and industry professionals in the early stages of their bluegrass careers. It is not a peoples’ choice, popularity or member-voted award, but a juried award by notable peers. Essentially, the Momentum Awards recognize the best “up and comers.”
IBMA has announced the nominees for the 2014 Momentum Awards. We are excited to find ourselves in two categories:
- Performance, Band – Snyder Family Band
- Performance, Intrumentalist – Zeb Snyder
Winners will be announced at the IBMA World of Bluegrass in September.
We are excited to announce that Zeb has been voted onto the second round ballot for IBMA 2014 Guitar Player of the Year! We would like to ask IBMA voting members to consider Zeb when you are filling out your ballot. There will be a third round of voting before winners are announced at the annual awards show at IBMA World of Bluegrass to be held in Raleigh, NC, September 2014. Zeb is honored to be included in the voting.
Award winning, Adam Steffey, invited Zeb and Samantha to record on his upcoming solo project titled “New Primitive.” The CD features Adam’s outstanding mandolin playing, along with his wife, Tina Steffey, on clawhammer banjo, Eddie Bond, on old time fiddle and vocals, Barry Bales on base, Zeb on guitar and Samantha contributed bluegrass fiddle on two tunes as well as a vocal track. Adam put together an incredible mix of tunes combining old time music and bluegrass. Release date is expected for June 2013.
Zeb is featured in the March/April 2012 issue of Flatpicking Guitar Magazine. The article is the “CD Highlight” and covers Zeb’s musical career from the beginning right up to our new CD “Stages.”
In addition, Zeb’s original instrumental “Goose Down Pillow” from “Stages” is included on the companion CD and is transcribed in music and tab. Thanks to Dan Miller for having Zeb in FGM!
